Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related systems
- Perform routine preventive maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems
- Document all service work, parts used, and labor accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Communicate repair findings and recommendations to service advisors or management
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy-duty technician
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, drivetrains, and electrical components
- Proficiency with diagnostic software and mechanical tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus
- ASE certification or equivalent preferred
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a team-first attitude
